The public tours process is currently being determined by the new administration. In the meantime, the White House is closed for tours. It will be entirely up to the new administration’s Visitors Office to determine tour availability and policies, and whether the requests already submitted will be considered. Congressional Offices will not be able to submit requests, security information, change or create accounts, or edit information while the website is unavailable. Additionally, because the Visitors Office will not be operational, you will not be able to reach the office until the new administration resumes operations within the office. We do not yet have a date for when the next Visitors Office will reopen. Please contact the Washington, D.C. office at 202-225-6306 if you have further questions.
White House tour requests require additional personal information such as: name, birth date, place of birth, and social security number. Please be prepared to provide this information for members of your tour party when we respond to your initial request.
